Replacement #1

My favorite rap artist is Sir Robert Bryson Hall Il a.k.a Logic. He's music has inspired me to keep going and stay positive. He's music sends out a positive message not like other rappers that rap about money, women or drugs. To keep things real, be yourself, don't be afraid of who you are and succeed! Robert has dealt with a hectic environment, it seemed like it was impossible to ever suceed. His dad was crack addict and mother an alcoholic racist. As for his brother he would sell crack to his own father and uncle. He's father was black and mother was racist towards the blacks she would not even care for her young children and call them bad names.

Logic moved out and worked many minimum jobs. He created a small studio in his friends house where he created many mix tapes. Robert smoked marijuana but did not let himself pick up another bad habit after his family. Just a year ago Robert had his first tour with Visionary Music Group, he's life is much better and hard work has payed off. He's an inspiring person to look up to. Life really is hard but it's not about how hard life can hit, it's about how you can get hit but still get up and keep moving forward.

Blog #7 Favorite Hobby

My favorite hobby is listening to music. It is the most common hobby that everyone does and do not even realize it. For generations music has done it's amazing change through the time. It is my most favorite hobby because it changes up my mood whether i understand the lyrics or it's dancing to the rhythm because it makes you feel joy. Whatever you decide to listen to shows in what mood you're in at the moment.

When I get bored at school or at home, random times I start to make beats on my own and just keep going with it. My head starts to think of lyrics and just speak out what I have to let out. I let out what I feel deep inside and write down what I can, music is an inspiration and outlet. If it's pain, loved, happy, sad, mad, my mind speaks out and i'm able to express myself in some kind of way.

In my opinion, if music was never invented the world would be a catastrophe! Having no rhythm and not being able to express in our own way is horrifying thing to imagine. I listen to music everywhere I go, whether i'm running, at school, work, dancing, cleaning my house, everywhere, it is a part life that can never be removed. It's an inspiration to many people out there just like me.

Blog #9 How Many Handshakes?

1) 5 handshakes were shook at once.
2) After the 11th student walked in, there was 6 different hand shakes.
3) If 20 students were in one class, it would be 30 handshakes.

Perseverance

If I were offered 50$ right now or 100$ in one year, I would take the 100$ in one year. The more patient you are the more result you get from waiting. My long term life goal is to have the career and travel through different states! I want to be a psychologist to help others the way I have been helped, to be open minded and having to achieve anything they aim for. It's difficult to have a stranger open up to you and to understand the situations they have gone through. Trust is not an easy thing to give, it is gained by showing the care they need and being heard so themselves can be heard as well.

Traveling is my next goal in life. I want to go to Alaska and see the Northern lights. Beautiful lights flowing through the dark sky can open a persons mind to new life. Going across states to explore helps you find yourself even more. To get out of your shell makes you happier then ever!

To achieve these goals, I must set small goals for now. I want to graduate high school first and have a job as well. Save up as much money as I can to buy a car and my license. Im very close to graduating and getting a license! Setting small goals can help and motivate to achieve the bigger goals in life.

Being Charitable

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seek for cures for children with cancer or other tragic diseases. There are others that  are well healthy and hating their life for not having the car that they wanted, they broke a finger and its an end of the world thing. These children are constantly fighting for their lives trying to survive another day to be with their love ones. Families put into tears and forced to stay strong for their little one. These little soldiers are precious for their battles they're forced to be put in.

This is important to me because I have had risk factors in life that has put me in a negative way. Appreciating every moment of life and knowing they're others younger that wished we're as healthy as me changes perspectives. These children always fight a day to live while I wished life was better. My life is great and some innocent have a short amount of time of greatness.

I log on to Facebook and see pictures of children that overcame their cancer a disease. They're happy survivors, most happiest people yet seen in my eyes. Appreciating that they're alive, to have their family around and are able to say they beat cancer. St. Jude Childrens Research Hosptal sends no bill to their families because no one should have to worry about money for their child to live.

Blog Number 3

My week off from school was amazing! So many things  to do in such little time that I wish we all had two weeks off instead of one. In the beginning of my week, I rode on a jet ski with my siblings. I was paranoid of falling since I am not a good swimmer, but it was a stupendous day for me. My brother and I would get up early in the morning before the sun rises to go for runs by the Back Bay area.

Although I had a week off from school, I could not escape from work! Everyday of the week, except Saturday, I worked from three to nine. That did not stop me from enjoying my week though. For Easter, I helped my mom do an Easter hunt for my two younger sisters. There faces we're priceless when they couldn't find the ones I hid from them. After the hunt we went down in Newport to eat at seafood place. I felt like my stomach was going to explode!

I spent some time with old friends as well, had two sleep overs in a row and by the time I got home, I hugged my blankets and pillows because I missed my room so much! Spring break was fun but productive as well. I went to my first Drivers Education class and it was a mission to get there. It's located in Anaheim and it took about two hours to get there. By six in the morning i had to leave my house and come back home by six in the afternoon. Fun and a productive week, I wish we had more time.

About Me

My name is Angelis Octaviano. I am currently enrolled at Back Bay High School. I am a junior, and my original home school is Costa Mesa High School. My favorite colors are Turquoise and light pink and my subject at school is history. I am seventeen years old  and love tattoos, drawings and peaceful walks. My current job is at Subway by the Ranch Market as a sandwich maker and cashier.  In my future I plan to study in the Medical Field and become an EMT as soon as I'm out of high school. In my opinion, it’s great to have goals because you have a reason to get up, look forward to know that you one step closer to accomplishing your goals in life.

I have a two year old cat named Bagels and a pet turtle, named Lucky. I enjoy animals presence because they're much easier to get along then people. I got inspired with drawing because of my old friends drawing art book. I enjoy others presence as long as they have good intentions. I sometimes still train in MMA for the fun of it. It’s an enjoyable sport and great to get your anger out.
